I choose to do a castle with princess's. My daughter loves princess's and we are going to take our kids to Disney World this year, so I figured a castle with princess's would be fun to make. I made it look like the princess's are flying or floating, giving that magical feel that Disney World would have.(I showed it to my 4 year old daughter and she loves it.)

  1. Aw, that is cute. I like how everything has a pink hue to go with all the princesses too. I wish I was going to Disney, lol.

  3. Just had a thought, it might be cute if you added some stars or something coming from around the princesses so they look like they are flying around the castle via help from like Tinkerbell. Might be cute if you put your daughter in there with them too since she likes them so much, like she is one of the princesses. She'd probably even like that framed and hanging up in her room or something.

  4. It looks very cute but i wish you did a little more work with the pictures, like turn the castle not as pink so it matched the other pictures.

  5. I showed my niece this and she loved it (she gets into these princess things)

Anyway this is a good dream scape but maybe could of used a little bit more color instead of the solid pink in the background. Maybe give peach a shadow effect.

An idea - maybe next time you could take Beast and put him in the side and lower the opacity a bit make it look like a dreamy effect I suppose overall it really is a good start.

  6. I like this its a very well thought out idea. You should have added something more in the background to the castle though.

  8. I like the path you took. Nice work but I think the charaters could have been placed better some of them look random and cut off.

  9. It's a cute dreamscape. I think the castle should have more color to it though and maybe place beauty and the beast and cinderella differently so you don't see the chopped off bottom.

  10. this is fun, who doesn't like disney? perhaps you could have put the characters like belle and the beast behind the castle so they don't just look cut off.

  11. This was really grand...disney, princesses, and pink...maybe you should add some diverse purple tones in it.

  12. Very cool concept. The images are good, and clear. I do agree with some of the other posts about perhaps some stars, or some other images and or effects, a little less pink. Overall very cool though

  15. This image is nice and well thought out, i like the time you took to place all the characters so they appear to be floating. I understand what you were going for with this image but throwing in an odd element would have been cool to see as well. Disney Dreamscape, or Dreamscape?

  16. I like the care you put into this, perhaps move Cinderella down to the edge so the image cutoff is less jarring.

  17. I could see why your daughter would love it! I screams Disney. ☺

I think it’s a great start, but it is missing a lot of aesthetic qualities to make it work. First thing that stands out is that there are chopped off cartoons. Beauty and the beast has a half a body and is floating in the air. Though, these characters are selected well, there is no unity as a composition. Second, the background is a different resolution than the foreground. Maybe, put a filter on it.

How can we change that? I love Kate’s thought about adding stars (maybe check in Brush Easy.com.) Not have any character being chopped off at the waist. Use their faces for eye movement.
