Jess's Dreamscape

I chose to create my dreamscape to symbolise adventure. I chose the background picture of a castle with a winter scenery. I love how magical the castle looks and it seems like a place full of adventure and fun. I added fall trees because i love fall and winter they are my favorite seasons because they are such pretty seasons. I added the picture of a bridge to interpret that fun can be anywhere. I used a picture of a birch tree because they are my favortire kind of tree, i love the colors of them. I focused more on a landscape type of dreamscape to tell my message of go on a adventure!

  1. For a quick second it looked like a complete different picture but then I realized the castle. I like the idea of the bridge you added there.
It gives me a sense of a long road to royalty or fame.

Since you added the leaves and stuff maybe you can color the back mountains greenish instead of snow on them. Unless you left that as part of the dream scape.

  2. I love how the bridge looks so real going toward the mountain i do agree though that you should have some how covered up the snow since it looks like fall weather.

  5. I really like this. You did a good job bringing everything together. I don't even see where you could've done something differently...It looks good.

  6. I like this and how it looks like you walking over the bridge to the mountain, but it does look more fall then winter.

  7. this is my favorite one. i like the depth of the bridge leading to the castle. one thing i would have done differently is i would have placed some objects on the bridge.

  8. fall turns into winter is cool...the depth of the bridge shows gives a little way to the castle that is looming behind the leaves...did you use two layers?

  9. Really good image. It does look like a whole new image. I like the meaning behind your images too. I personally would add some "distortion" or some dreamy effects - my own personal taste. Good job

  12. This is absolutely beautiful! You created a majestic landscape, that is your own world. Technically some of the leaves in the foreground are a bit pixeled. And the butterfly is very crisp- so there are some different resolutions going on…

I like the idea of the butterfly. The one thing that stands out of me was that there wasn’t any life in the image? No animals or humans. Very landscape/still life. Was this on purpose? Could have strong symbolism to not have life, or you could add subtle life (bugs etc). Overall the color tones make it feel so natural, excellent jobs using adjustment layers.
