Nick Veres Magazine

Hey Everyone, This is a sketch i did a while back of Wanderlei Silva. I have been wanting to play with some text overlay for a while so this project fit perfect. Thanks for lookin.

  4. The picture looks great with all the titles but i think there is a little to much going on with the titles all having a different style to them.

  5. I like the picture but I have to agree with Jess on the text, and I feel like the name plate could have been a bit higher and bigger.

  6. good color contrast, beautiful drawing, but i really think the title needs to be bigger. I realize you wanted it to fit in his forehead, but it just doesn't stand out enough it looks like all the other headlines.

  7. I really like this one. I agree with others about the title being higher and maybe bigger, but other than that it actually really reminds of some of the covers of ESPN magazine that my brother used to get. I REALLY like the drawing too. That is really good.

  10. I love this cover. I personally, like to look at hand drawn sketches. I think less titles would allow the viewer to focus on the image more - but than again, this is coming from my own tastes.

  13. wow you sketched this...very cool...and it is very artistic considering that a fighting magazine would use it...I enjoyed glowing UFC it makes it look like a tattoo the way that it was angled...Great!!
