A Successful Logo (Mohsin Khawaja)

The Mozilla Firefox project was created by Dave Hyatt and Blake Ross as an experimental branch of the Mozilla project. The animal shown in the logo is a stylized fox, although "firefox" is considered to be a common name for the Red Panda. The logo was chosen for the purpose of making an impression, while not shouting out with overdone artwork.

Recently, an article featured in Wired showed that photographs in space taken by the Hubble Space telescope showed something really similar to the logo which firefox is using. December 17, 2002 was the date when the photographs were taken.

“Firefox is the second most widely used browser with approximately 30% of worldwide usage share of web browsers”. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Firefox)
“The browser has had particular success in Germany, where it is the most popular browser with 60% usage”. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Firefox)

  3. Mohsiin-

I do not want the history of the logo (anyone can google that) I want to know why YOU think it is a "good-lookin" logo. All of these are opinions. Please fix asap.
