Carbonaro-Frank Gehry

The Dancing House by Frank Gehry spoke to me aesthetically, because it looks like a building out of one of those half cartoon, half real people movies, like ‘Who Framed Rodger Rabbit.’ And I always find those movies to be aesthetically pleasing. At first glance, to me, it looked like twisted, unfinished demolition. But upon closer inspection, you can see how it appears to be a ballroom dancer. Or even an exotic dancer wrapped around a pole. Okay, maybe just a ballroom dancer. His inspiration perhaps came from a musical or ballet he had just finished watching.
