Nick Veres Architecture Project Monticello

                                                              Monticello

Monticello is a true architectural masterpiece. It was the estate of Thomas Jefferson, and was also designed by Thomas Jefferson himself. Monticello sits just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia. The construction of this great building started in 1769. It resides on a plantation of nearly 5,000 acres.
Monticello has eight fireplaces, thirteen skylights, and forty-three rooms. Although the original building of Monticello first took place in 1769, a plan was drawn up for enlarging and expanding Monticello in 1796, this addition was then completed in 1809.
This building is truly a great masterpiece. Every inch of the house is designed to Thomas Jefferson’s personal taste. It is a great part of our nations history and a beautiful piece of American architecture.

  1. love the grass and the out of control weeds. i like how you gave it your own color too. maybe you could've added the trees in the background for a bit more depth.

  4. You did a really good job with this. I like the detail you went into with everything and your shading is also done well. I agree with the others, just work on the trees because they aren't as strong as your building.
